Combined Annual Radiological Environmental Operating Report and Radiological Effluent Release Repon l

Ladies and Gentlemen: l Provided under this cover is the combined 1996 Annual Radiological Environmental Operating Report (AREOR) and January through December ' 996, Radiological Effluent Release Report (RERR) for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station (DBNi ,i). The Teledyne Isotopes Midwest Laboratory Final Monthly Progress Report for January through December 1996, contains the 1996 Radiological l Environmental Monitoring Program Sample Analysis Results. The AREOR and the RERR are submitted by April 30 of each year in accordance with DBNPS Technical Specifications 6.9.1.10 and 6.9.1.11.

For your reference, the enclosed Table 1 provides a listing of the specific requirements detailed in the DBNPS Offsite Dose Calculation Manual (ODCM) and the portion of the AREOR which was prepared to meet each requirement. Also provided under this cover ta the Document Control Desk only, are ODCM Revision 10 dated April 9,1997 and RERR Meteorological Data on 3 % inch microdisk. No changes to the Process Control Progran: (PCP) occurred during this reporting period.
