REPORT 0006 COMMITHENT HATERIAL CHANGE EVALUATION REPORT 0001 ,

Gentlemen: -

Please find attached the following periodic reports pertaining to CPSES Units 1 and 2.

(A) Attachment 1 is the report required by 10CFR50.59(b)(2) for '

activities since December 31, 1994, at CPSES Units 1 and 2. This report contains a brief description of the changes, tests and experiments implemented or performed pursuant to 10CFR50.59(a),

including a summary of the safety evaluations for each. Items in this report are referenced by their 10CFR50.59 Evaluation Numbers. This report includes those activities which were completed between December 31, 1994, and February 1, 1996, which were not reported to the NRC in a previous submittal. This report also includes certain activities completed after February 1, 1996.

(B) Attachment 2 is the CPSES Units 1 and 2 report (Commitment Material Change Evaluation Report 0001) per the recommendations of NRC document SECY 95 300 " Guidelines for Managing NRC Commitments." The tracking document for this process at CPSES is the " Commitment Material Change Evaluation (CMCE)" which identifies the affected commitments and origin, original criteria, proposed changes and the jut tifications for the changes. This report pertains to commitment material changes (in docketed correspondences) which require reporting between November 1, 1994 and February 1, 1996, which were not addressed in the 10CFR50.59 evaluations.
