i Results of specific activity analysis in whit.h the primary coolant exceeded the lim:tt. of Technical Specification 3.4.8 are to be submitted on an annual basis purs.uant to i Technical Specification 6.9.1.5.c. There was one instance where the Dose Equiva;ent l lodine-131 in the primary coolant exceeded the 1.0 Ci/gm limit. The limits of Technical Spec;fication 3.4,8 were exceeded for 11.9 hours1.041667e-4 days <br />0.0025 hours <br />1.488095e-5 weeks <br />3.4245e-6 months <br />. This occurred on N3rth

, Anna Unit 2 on September 20, 1991 following an automatic reactor trip.

Approximately four failed fuel rods nre estimated to be in the Unit 2 core. With this

[ number of defects, the increase in primany coolant specific activity following a reactor l trip is expected.

Fuel examinations will be performed during the next Unit 2 !clueling outage to idantify -

l the leaking fuel rods. The data required to be submitted as a result of exceeding the l

primary coolant limits of Techmcal Specification 3.4.8 is provided in the attachme7t.
