Fwd::Mr. 3request re. Oyster Creek Documents x Mr.f ,.Vas in the PDR and asked to see the Oyster Creek USAR. I told him that it was not available to the public at this time. He thought that he should at least be able to look at it. I gave him your telephone number. I think that he also intended to try to look for It at the former LPDR.

Mr...... . equest re. Oyster Creek Documents Place: PDR The purpose of this e-mail Isjust to document the following event:

On 2112/02 I received a phone call from a Mr X ho was presumably calling from the Public Document Room. He said he was looking for yster Cree14documents, Inparticular, plant drawings. H21e said that he has not been In the PDR since the 9/11/01 disaster, and noted that the PDR no longer carries some previously availble documents. He said that he used to work for NRC and that he had a QA clearance then. He urged me to let him look at Oyster Creek documents (i.e., presumably those in my possession), especially plant drawings, in my presence. I told him that since the disaster, the Commission has withheld a lot of previously publicly available documents, and directed that these documents be reevaluated for public disclosure. I declined to let him look at any document that is not currently in the PDR. I advised him that, if he wants to discuss the CoirnaLssion's current policy, he should ask the PDR staff how he can do that. This ended my contact with Mr.f Peter S.Tam, Senior Project Manager Project Directorate I-1 Division of Licensing Project Management Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation e-mail: pstEnrc.gov Tel.: 301-415-1451
