Puget Sound Power & Light Company herewith submits Amendment 29 to its Preliminary Safety Analysis Report (PSAR) for the Skagit/Hanford Nuclear Project.

Amendment 29 provides information on the diesel generator design provisions for accommodating dust and ashfall.

The changes are indicated by a dark vertical line in the margin followed by the amendment number to which the change is applicable. Pages affected by Amendment 29 are identified by the amendment date and number.

Instructions for incorporating the material into the PSAR are provided.
