SUMMARY

LaSalle Unit 1 operated at full power for the month of August 2003, with the exception of the following:

August 2 - Power was reduced to about 1005 MWe to enable recovery of condensate booster pump suction pressure during isolation of the 14B feedwater heaters. The feedwater isolation was due to a failure of the solenoid for the 16 A heater normal drain valve. The solenoid was replaced and the unit was returned to full power on August 3, 2003.

August 30 - Power was reduced to about 600 MWe for control rod pattern adjustment and rod testing. The unit was returned to full power on September 1, 2003.
