LaSalle Unit 1 operated at full power for the entire month of April 2002, with the exception of the following:

April 28, 2002 (0030) - The unit reduced power to 945 MWe for turbine control valve monthly surveillance testing, in addition to main steam isolation valve scram functional quarterly surveillance testing. The unit returned to full power at 1930 hours0.0223 days <br />0.536 hours <br />0.00319 weeks <br />7.34365e-4 months <br /> on April 28, 2002. Total duration of the power reduction was 19 hours2.199074e-4 days <br />0.00528 hours <br />3.141534e-5 weeks <br />7.2295e-6 months <br />.

SUMMARY

LaSalle Unit 2 operated at full power during April 2002, with the exception of the following:

"* April 8, 2002 (1952) - A power reduction from full power was initiated to shut down the unit in preparation for planned maintenance outage L2P01.

"* April 9, 2002 (0048) - The unit entered planned maintenance outage L2P01. The unit remained in the maintenance outage through April 24, 2002.

"* April 24, 2002 (0756) - The unit was taken critical in preparation for startup from outage L2P01.

"* April 24, 2002 (2317) - The unit was synchronized to the grid at 129 MWe, completing L2P01.

The total duration on the outage was 382 hours0.00442 days <br />0.106 hours <br />6.316138e-4 weeks <br />1.45351e-4 months <br /> 29 minutes. Full power was achieved at 0549 on April 27, 2002. The unit was maintained at full power for the remainder of the month.
