IE Bulletin 80-19, Rev. 1 Duke File: P81-1412.ll-1

Dear Mr. O'Reilly:

In response to your letter of August 15, 1980, which transmitted Nuclear Regulatory Commission IE Bulletin 80-19, Revision 1, we wish to advise that a review of the designs of Cherokee and Perkins Nuclear Stations has been conducted. This review revealed that no C. P. Clare Model HG2X-10ll mercury-wetted relays are used or planned for use in the logic matrix of the Reactor Protective Systems at these stations.

This review required approximately 27 manhours to complete and report.

Very truly yours, s
