Supplemental Response to Infraction 369/80-08-01; 370/80-05-01; 413, 414/80-09-01; 491/80-07-01; 492, 493/80-06-01, " Temporary Record Storage Facilities in the Engineering and Services Division and Design Engineering Department Fail to Meet the Fire Protection Requirements of ANS1 N45.2.9-1979".

All applicable design records will be either duplicated and stored in dual facilities as outlined in Section 5.6.2 of ANSI N45.2.9-1979 or maintained in a single facility in accordance with Section 5.6.1 of the same standard.

On November 5, 1980, Duke began to relocate all existing completed calculations and correspondence to the Corporate Records Vault.

Design Engineering procedures have been drafted and are currently under review. The procedures will ensure vault storage or duplication upon completion of calculations or correspondence.

These procedures will be finalized by December 15, 1980. All Vendor Quality Assurance Records held by the Engineering and Services Division will be shipped to site storage facilities, j meeting the single storage requirements of ANSI N45.2.9.

report will be submitted at that time.
