Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
In response to your February 6, 1980 letter which transmitted Nuclcar Regul-atory Commission IE Bulletin 83-03, we wish to advise that a review of Cherokee and Perkins Nuclear Stations has been conducted. This review has revbaled that no charcoal absorber cells have been received from the manufacturers, precluding any inspection at this time. The manufacturers have been notified of the subject Bulletin and the problems discussed in the Bulletin are resolved by their current designs.
