Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
In response to year letter of July 31, 1980, which transmitted Nuclear Regulatory Coc=ission IE Bulletin 80-20, we wish to advise that a review of the designs of Cherokee and Perkins Nuclear Stations has been conducted.
This review revealed that no Westinghouse Type W-2 switches with spring return-to-neutral (Auto) position are used or planned for use in safety-related applications at these stations.
This review required approximately 17 canhours to co=plete and report.
