Dear Mr. O' Reilly:

In response to your letter of November 2,1979, which transmitted Nuclear Regulatory Connission IE Bulletin 79-25, we wish to advise that a review of the designs of Cherokee and Perkins Nuclear Stations has been conducted.

This review revealed that ncne of the Westing-house BFD/NBFD relays specified in the subject bulletin are used or planned for use in the safety-related systems at these stations.
