Dear Mr. Eisenhut:
In our letter dated October 22, 1981, we informed you that we were reviewing the impact of NUREG 0718 and the Proposed Licensing Requirements for Pending Construction Permit and Manufacturing License Applications on Perkins Nuclear Station. On March 2,1982, Duke Power Company withdrew its construction permit applications for the Perkins Nuclear Station. Review of the proposed ruling is no longer pertinent, and we have concluded our efforts in this matter.
It is our recommendation that Perkins Nuclear Station be deleted from the text of the rule.
