Chairman James Hendrie Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, D. C. 20555

Dear Chairman Hendrie:

l DO NOT ALLOW BUILDING OF THE BAILLY NUCLEAR PLANT!

It is contemptuous to disregard the advise of your regional director, James G. Keppler who made public a letter to your office.

It stated "THE BAILLY SITE HAS FAILED ALL EIGHT NRC '

SITING AND POPULATION CRITERIA."

Bailly is located next to Gary and within 30 miles of Chicago, It is immediately next to the huge new Bethlehem Steel Plant. '

It is adjacent to the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. . ..
