It has now been fif teen months since BPI submitted its Application for Award of Fees and Expenses under the Equal Access to Justice Act in reference to the above matter, and well over a year since the Commission reques ted an opinion of the Comptroller General. To date, it appears that nothing further has transpired with respect to BPI's application.

Accordingly, would you please provide a status report, and a date by which the Commission expects to act on BPI's request. This matter has been delayed uell beyond any reasonable time, and for no apparent reason.
