Pn0D Chairman James Hendrie Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, D. C.

Dear Chairman Hendrie:
DO NOT ALLOW BUILDING OF THE BAILLY NUCLEAR PLANT!
It is contemptuous to disregard the advise of your regional director, James G. Keppler who made public a letter to your office.
It stated "THE BAILLY SITE HAS FAILED ALL EIGHT NRC SITING AND POPULATION CRITERIA."
Bailly is located next to Gary and within 30 miles of Chicago, It is immediately next to the huge new Bethlehem Steel Plant.
4 It is adjacent to the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. g

the immediate evacuation of the Bailly plant itself, resulting in a loss of control over the reactor.
Evacuation from that area is impossible.
The roads are narrow, winding with impossible egress.
Issuing a license which endangers millions of people N
shows contempt for human life.
AXE THE BAILLY PLANT!
