U.S. Muclear siegulatory Commission, 20555
Dear Mr. Ahearne:
I urge cancellation of the Bailly nuclear power olant.
Che plants fails all eight of NRC's siting and population criteria.
2here is a dense local population, lack of effective evacuation routes, and milliers of gallons of flammible materials within a quarter of a mile of the site.
2he plant is only 1% completed.
It is better to close it down now and absorb the costs than face a much nore costly disaster in the future (e.g. JMI where clean-un costs are now pegred at about $1.-5 billion).
Follow the Denton memo and Keppler's letter.
Close down Bailly.
Sincerely.
g.
