Responsive to your letter of July 7, 1981, regarding the Licensing Board's May 22, 1981 Memorandum and Order (Granting Protective Order to GE), please be advised that the documents to which that Order is directed are available at my office for inspection pur-suant to the terms of that Order. The total number of pages contained in the documents is approximately 900 to 1,000.

A copy of a proposed agreement to be bound by the terms of the May 22, 1981 Memorandum and Order required by numbered paragraph 2 of the Order is enclosed for your review. If you have any comments on the proposed agreement, please advise; otherwise you will be asked to execute the enclosed form of agreement prior to your review of the GE documents.

Please let me know when you wish to inspect these documents so that appropriate arrangements can be made for such purpose.
