REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REGARDING THE LASALLE COUNTY STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2, LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW (TAC NOS. MF5567 AND MF5568)

Dear Mr. Gallagher:

By letter, dated December 9, 2014, Exelon Generation Company, LLC (Exelon) submitted an application, including an Environmental Report, for renewal of Operating Licenses NPF-11 and NPF-18 for LaSalle County Station (LSCS), Units 1 and 2. The staff of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is reviewing this application and the associated Environmental Report. The NRC staff has identified, in the enclosure, areas where additional information is needed to complete the review. Further requests for additional information may be issued in the future.

As discussed with your staff, we request that you provide your responses no later than 45 days from the date of this letter. If you have any questions, please contact me at 301-415-6223 or by e-mail at david.drucker@nrc.gov.
