NRC-2018-0280-DRAFT-0006 Comment on FR Doc # 2018-27547 Submitter InformationName: Glen BesaAddress: 4896 Burnham Rd North Chesterfield, 23234Email: glenbesa@gmail.com General Comment I am objecting to the relicensing of the Surry 1 and 2 as premature.

The Surry nuclear plant's two reactors were first licensed for 40 years in 1972 and 1973, due to expire in 2012-2013. In 2003 Dominion secured a 20 year license renewal through 2033 and 2034.

Right now, only 5 years into its new license and 15 years prior to that renewed license expiration, Dominion is already seeking a second 20 year renewal from the Nuclear Regul atory Commission (NRC). I also understand that critical tests that are needed to as the integrity of Surry 1 and 2 , in particular related to the pressure vessel have been delayed.

Any consideration of a second renewa l period should be delayed until the fitness of the reactors can be assessed further into its first renewal period.

Thank you,Glen Besa Page 1 of 1 01/25/201 9 https://www.fdms.gov/fdms/getcontent?objectId=09000064839fe87d&format=xml&showorig=fals e
