Dear Mr. Maas.

We have received your submittal dated January 13, 1997, containing criticality safety analyses (CSA's) for the Line 2 ADU process and the Line 2 U0 2Powder Production System. This project has been assigned TAC No. L30940. Please reference this number in any future correspondence associated with this project. Your document has been forwarded to the Project Manager, Susan Chotoo, for appropriate action. Ms. Chotoo can be reached on (301) 415-8102. j We have completed the initial administrative review of your submittal. During the initial processing, no omissions / deficiencies were identified. Please  ;

note that the complete technical review may identify omissions in the  ;

submittal information or technical issues that may require additional information.

We expect to receive the remainder of your Category II CSA's by April 30, 1997, according to your schedule submitted December 2,1996. Based on our administrative reviews and projection of current review schedules, we would anticipate completing our review of the Category II CSA's by October 1997.

This date could change depending on the findings of our technical review,  !

urgent assignments, or other factors. We will promptly communicate any significant changes to this schedule.

A copy of your correspondence has been forwarded to our License Fee and Accounts Receivable Branch, Office of the Controller, who will contact you separately if the appropriate license fee has not been submitted for your request, or for billing if your request is subject to full cost fee recovery.
