NRC update: Davis-Besse Good afternoon, Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Plant has not yet restarted from its recent refueling outage and reactor-vessel head-replacement.
The NRC staff continues its review of the cracks found in the shield building and their safety implications.
If the NRC reaches/a conclusion that the plant is safe for restart, I will promptly notify your offices.We are planning to hold a public meeting the week of December 12, 2011; I will provide details as soon as they are confirmed.
