and approval of the above proposal, an exception to Manual Chapter 1102 is requested in order to pennit Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) personnel to attend the January 18-20, 1984 Electric Power ResearchInstitute(EPRI)workshopatWashington,D.C. Approval for the funding cf $11,000 (0.08 psy for FY-1984) enabling LLNL personnel to attend the above EPRI-sponsored workshop is requested. Participation of LLNL personnel, along with industry, U. S. Geological Survey, and NRC representatives, at the workshop is essential for an orderly, timely exchange of information regarding the progress of the NRC and                     -
