Dear Mr. Hanson:

On December 31, 2015 , t he U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff completed its annual inspection of the Emergency Preparedness Program at the Dresden Nuclear Power Station, Units 2 and 3. This inspection began on January 1, 2015. Issuance of this letter closes Inspection Report Number 2015 501. Some of the time NRC expended during routine Emergency Preparedness Program reviews was charged to th is report number.

Any observations and findings in these areas were provided to you via separate correspondence.

In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 2.390, "Public Inspections, Exemptions, Requests for Withholding," of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC's Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of the NRC's Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading
