Gentlemen:
In Reference (a) Duquesne Light Company committed to make two changes to the Bypassed and        Inoperable Systems Indication logic. These new design changes have been included in Amendment 11 in January 1986 to the Beaver Valley Unit No. 2 Final Safety Analysis Report (FS AR).
The first change involved inoperability of the residual heat removal system when the primary component cooling water system is inoperable. This                                                      ;.
change is shown in FSAR Figure 7.5-6. The second change involved inoperability 4
of the primary component cooling water system, diesel generator and                      recircula-tion spray system when the service water system is inoperable. These changes are shown in FSAR Figures 7.5-16, 7.5-28, and 7.5-12 respectively.
In Reference (b) Duquesne Light Company committed to revise the FS AR
* to address Regulatory Guide 1.47. Amendment 7 to the FSAR in July 1984 revised Section 7.5.5 to address this issue.
