in the drywell, and if you are considering delaying the exit meeting, I want to get a feel for whether you think it's worthwhile for me to still come. I can always schedule another visit later - at a time commensurate with your exit, and which presents less burden to the licensee (since a regional executive has already been there this eek).

OC LRI Daily Update Oct 30 OC LRI Outage Commitments Inspection Day,4 Inspection Progress

1) Progress remains Slow. Drywell NDE activities are 3 to 4 days behind. Other non-critical path outage work has also slipped.

2) Coordination between their LR people and outage work management has improved slightly.

3) I informed AmerGen if they don't have sufficient NDE data available for our review early next week, I may need to delay the Exit.

Inspection Schedule

1) Glenn Meyer left yesterday. Tim O'Hara left today. Michael and I will continue tomorrow (Friday)..

.2) No weekend outage inspection, based on their slow NDE progress.

3) I will be here Monday, with Paul Kaufman (he returns for ISl and may also help with LR).

Today's Inspection Activities

1) Tim O'Hara inspected 3 sandbeds (plus 1 yesterday for a total or 4). Conditions inside those sandbeds

,look about the same as 2 years ago. Some questions about cracks in the sandbed cavity floors, outside the scope of a LR commitment or the ASME IWE program requirements.

2) Periodic Inspection of a condensate system expansion joint. Nothing noteworthy.

LR Commitment Issues or Concerns None.

Drywell Structural Integrity Issues or Concerns None. Initial NDE data is too little to draw any conclusion from.
