The Newington site which vaa considered in two previous meetings with this applicant has been abandoned. The applicant felt the close proximity of Pease Air Force Base (SAC) would result in costly and cumbersone design problems. In addition, dye relecse studies in their ultimate heat sink indicated poor thermal dissipation, i
especially if more than one unit were constructed. Therefore, a previously considered site near Seabrook, New Paspehire, approximately 250 acres, has been reevaluated and is now *he proposed location of their first unit.                Mr. Priest, vice president of Public Service Company, will make a news release to this effect in approminately two weeks.
From the information presented we agreed with Public Service that the Secbrook site is more acceptable from at least two vievet the population distribution is lower and there is no involvement with the SAC air base.                                                                                                                    l Mr. Priest expects the PSAR will be submitted in April 1969.
