Muller, Chief, Reactor Project Branch #1 MEETING WITH FUBLIC SERVICE COMPANT OF NEW RAMPSHIRE REGARDING THE NEWINGTON NUCLEAR STATION Representatives of the Public Service Company of New Hampshire met August 28, 1968, to discuss the present statue and proposed echedule for their Newington nuclear power plant (2660 Wt-FWR). Those in attendance were:

- 7. W. Howe C. J. Hale A preliminary report was distributed briefly describing the propoeod Newington plant and site. Significant datee in the schedule aret PSAR submittal, February 1969; construction permit. March 1970 fuel loading, March 19741 comenercial operation, October 1974.
While our comments on the report were general in nature, the opplicant was advised that the relatively small ette,157 acree, would be of concern.
The applicant was encouraged to discues with as any majer probles area in the 4
preparation of their FSAR.
