SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCES At the beginning of the month, the unit was-operating at 1001 power.

On January 3, the unit.was manually shutdown to replace failing bearing on the geneiator leads cooling fan.

On January 4, repairs were completed on the generator leads cooling fan and the unit phased-on line.

On January 6, the unit was reduced to 70% due to problems with heater drain pump discharge control valve.

On January 9, the unit reached 100t power.

On January 12, the unit was reduced to 781-due to large amounts ot grass and seaweed partially blocking the circulating water intake rack and traveling water tareens.

On January 13, the unit reached 1001 power.

On January 31, the unf' commenced a power reduction to investigate lucreased vibration It - s on Reactor Coolant Pump #3..

At the end of the month, the unit was operating at 48% power.
