NOTICE OF VIOLATION (NRC INVESTIGATION REPORT 4-97-028)

Dear Mr. Rumley:

Thank you for your letter of September 30,1997, in response to our letter and Notice of Violation dated September 12,1997. We have reviewed your reply and find it responsive to the concerns raised in our letter and Notice of Violation. As stated in your letter, you understand the seriousness of the violations described in the Notice of Violation and Siemens and the NRC should havo confidence in your abiding by all regulatory requirements in the future. Based upon our review of your response, we consider the matter closed. However, any future actions on your part that demonstrate a deliberate act of violating NRC regulatory requirements could result in additional enforcement by the NRC.
