OF PUBLIC MEETINGS RELATED TO THE LICENSE RENEWAL PROCESS FOR THE THREE MILE ISLAND NUCLEAR STATION, UNIT 1, LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff conducted two public meetings related to the license renewal process for the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit 1 (TMI-1), license renewal application submitted by AmerGen Energy Company, LLC. The meetings were conducted on Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at the following locations and times:

The Elks Theatre 1:30 p.m.

4 W Emaus Street Middletown, PA 17057 Londonderry Elementary School 7:00 p.m.

260 Schoolhouse Road Middletown, PA 17057 Approximately 150 people attended the meetings. The attendees included representatives of the NRC staff, members of the public, AmerGen Energy Company, LLC, Exelon Corporation, local governments, and the press. Public comments and questions were mainly focused on the license renewal process, radiation protection, emergency planning, security, water resources, and spent fuel storage.
