To discuss the Three Mile Island, Unit 2, (TMI-2) Post-Shutdown Decommissioning Activities Report (PSDAR) submittal and obtain public comments.
DISCUSSION:
On August 28, 2013, the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) held a Public Meeting in Hershey, PA to discuss the TMI-2 PSDAR submitted by GPU Nuclear, Inc. on June 28, 2013 (ADAMS No.
The meeting opened at 7:00pm with an introduction of NRC staff participants and a discussion of the agenda and purpose of the meeting. The meeting agenda is provided as Enclosure 1. Attendees of the meeting were notified that the meeting was being transcribed and that the transcript [see Enclosure 2, (ADAMS No. ML13262A152)]
would become part of the public record. After the introduction, the staff provided presentations on NRCs decommissioning process, an overview of the PSDAR submittal and inspection oversight program.

Three members of the public (Scott Portzline, Eric Epstein, and Mary Stamos) gave presentations. Copies of their statements are included as Enclosures 4, 5, and 6, respectively (ADAMS Nos. ML13262A117, ML13262A115, and ML13262A111). The meeting was adjourned at approximately 9:00pm.
