Provided on page 3 By letter dated September 28, 202 1 (Reference 1), Ameren Missouri submitted a license amendment request (LAR) for adopting the alternative source term methodology addressed in 1 0 CfR 50.67.

Subsequent to this LAR submittal, by letter dated December 1 , 2021 (Reference 2), Ameren Missouri submitted a supplement to the LAR in which fourteen enclosures were provided in order to make corrections and provide additional information. In particular, Enclosures 9 through 11 (ML21335A461 , ML21335A462, and ML21335A463) of Reference 2 provided the input and output files ofARCON96-NAI runs that were performed in support ofthe LAR.

In their request for additional information (RAT) dated October 14, 2022 (Reference 3), the NRC staff requested clarification of the ARCON inputs and results documented in the aforementioned Enclosures 9 through 1 1 Ameren Missouri provided a response to this RAT in the forni of an enclosure in a letter dated December 8, 2022 (Reference 4) which corrected the ARCON input files and conservatively revised the LAR dose analyses. The NRC staff indicated successful completion of confirmatory calculations with respect to the Reference 4 enclosure but requested Ameren Missouri withdraw Enclosures 9 through 1 1 of the December 1 , 2021 supplement to prevent confusion with respect to the submitted ARCON inputs and outputs.
