Furnished herewith is OQAM Revision 36 pursuant to the requirements of 10 CFR 50.54 and 10 CFR 50.71, and 10 CFR Part 72. The OQAM has been revised to incorporate changes since the last docketed revision transmitted via Reference I.

The following are provided as attachments to this letter:

ULNRC-06777 Page 2 of 5 Revision 36 incorporates OQAM Change Notices (CNs)21-002, 21-003,22-002, and 22-003. The changes in this revision inctude:

. OQAMCN 21-002 changes the Callaway Energy Centertitle from Director, Nuclear Oversight to Manager, Nuclear Oversight. There are no changes to reporting relationships or assigned responsibilities as described in the OQAM.

. OQAMCN 21-003 changes commitment from Regulatory Guide I .8, Qualification and Training of Personnel for Nuclear Power Plants, Revision 2, dated April, 1 987 to Regulatory Guide I .8, Revision 4, dated June 201 9 only for Radiation Protection (RP) positions of First Line Supervisors, Technicians, and Supptemental Personnel.

. OQAMCN 22-002 revises the wording of OQAM I .2.2 that describes the frequency of the review performed by the Senior Vice President and Chief Nuclear Officer for the independent review of matters involving safe operating of the plant from at least once per twelve months to at least once each calendar year. Eased on the US NRC SER letter to Nuclear Management Company, dated January 13, 2005 (ADAMS Accession # ML050210276).

. OQAMCN 22-003 provides clarification and editorial changes by revising OQAM I .3.2 to clarify QC activities, OQAM I .7.1 to reflect renaming ofthe Health Physics department to Radiation Protection, removes ISO/IEC I 7025:2005, and adds the issue year -1 978 to ANSI N45.2.6 and ANSI/ANS-3.1.

Change Notices21-002, 21-003,22-002, and 22-003 were reviewed internally and determined to not represent reductions in commitment to the Operating Quality Assurance Program as previously accepted by the NRC. The OQAM continues to maintain its focus on activities affecting quality, consistent with importance to safety, including compliance with 10 CFR 50 Appendix B requirements.

Alt of the above OQAMCNs are indicated in the mark-up of OQAM Rev 35a provided in , and are reflected in OQAM Rev. 36 (with the changes incorporated) provided as Attachment 3.
