By letter dated November 3, 2022 (Reference 1), Ameren Missouri (Union Electric) submitted a license amendment request to revise Technical Specification 5.5.16, Containment Leakage Rate Testing Program, to allow for the permanent extension of the Type A Integrated Leak Rate Testing (ILRT) and Type C Leak Rate Testing frequencies based on the guidance in NEI 94-01, Industry Guideline for Implementing Performance-Based Option of 10 CFR 50, Appendix I, (Rev. 3-A).

June 5, 2023 Page 2 of 4 During its review of the license amendment, the NRC staff determined that additional information is required to complete its review. The NRC electronically transmitted a request for additional information (RAT) to Ameren Missouri on April 5, 2023 (Reference 2) and requested that the response be provided within 60 days of receipt. Ameren Missouris response to the RAT is hereby provided per the Enclosure to this letter.

This letter does not contain new commitments.
