TWO CONTRACTOR EMPLOYEES INJURED IN FALL FROM SCAFFOLD Two glaziers eriployed by a TVA contractor fell about 40 feet at 8:18 a.m. (EDT) today after one end of the scaffold on which they were working gave way. The accident occurred in the new simulator training building, which is on TVA property outside the Browns Ferry plant security fence. p Both were taken by ambulance to an Athens, Alabama, hospital with both internal and external injuries. One of the men was admitted to the Athens hospital and is in stable condition. The other was transferred to a hospital in Huntsville, Alabama, where he is listed in critical condition.

TVA has been responding to media inquiries.

The State of Alabama arid the Occupational Safety and Health Administration have been informed.
