ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS FAIL ENVIRONMENTAL TESTS Bendix electrical connectors used in the Unit No. 3 containment failed steam environmental tests following an accelerated aging program. The -
failure occurred at the back of the connector where the conductors join the connector pins. These connectors passed the steam environment test in November 1977 without the aging program. , , ,
- The Physical Sciences connectors used on Units No. 1 and 2 successfully C passed the test. .
