Withdrawal of Proposed Technical Specification Changes (License Amendments) Addressed by Generic Letter 89-01 (TAC Nos. 72053 and 72056)
Pursuant to 10CFR2.107, Detroit Edison hereby requests that the Reference 2 and 3 applications for amendment of the Fermi 2 operating License be withdrawn. Each of these proposals substantially deal with Technical Specifications which, under the guidance of NFC Generic Letter 89-01, can be eliminated from the Technical Specifications.
Detroit Edison intends to implement the guidance of Generic Letter 89-01 at Fermi 2. In order to conserve NRC resources, Detroit Edison has agreed to withdraw these proposals. Following implementation of Generic Letter 89-01, the proposed changes to the eliminated 'Ibchnical I Id l
