Subj ect: NRC Violation 85-047-06 on Security Record i i The subject Violation 85-047-06 in Reference 2. documented a deficiency in the security computer' system. data transfer from ~

disk to magnetic tape that resulted in a partial loss of historical data. The response to' that identified violation

actions was that the Fermi 2 Security Organization wouldL maintain a "hard copy" of the daily computer printer 1ogs until.all of the elements of our corrective action program were completed. ,

g"n ## This item was closed in Inspection Report 86-021 after a review of Detroit Edison's corrective actions. However the .i

$o report states that the licensee keeps the printouts mentioned above as a supplement / backup to the magnetic tape data.:
