Green Bay, WI, 54313 Email: johnko929@sbcglobal.net Phone: 9204030534 General Comment As a resident of Northeast Wisconsin I strongly oppose continued operation of the Point Beach Nuclear Plant. This plant was built in the 1960's and today we have alternatives for energy generation that are safer and more cost effective. How would you like it if I put nuclear waste in your back yard? This particular plant is adjacent to the largest source of fresh water in the entire world. Water is life, and putting the Great Lakes at risk with a nuclear power plant on its shores is simply a stupid idea, especially when there are more cost effective ways to generate electricity in the 21st century. Please shut this plant down.
