Mr. Strope, By letter dated November 16, 2020 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Package Accession No. ML20329A292), NextEra Energy Point Beach, LLC (NextEra) submitted to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) an application for subsequent license renewal of Renewed Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-24 and DPR-27 for the Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2 (Point Beach), respectively. In support of the application and in accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Part 51 and Part 54, NextEra also submitted an environmental report.

The NRC staff in the NRC Environmental Center of Expertise is in the process of reviewing your environmental report. Based on our review, the NRC staff has identified the attached requests for additional information (RAIs) and requests for confirmation of information (RCI).

These RAIs and RCIs were discussed with Richard Orthen of your staff, and a mutually agreeable date for the response is within 30 days from the date of this email.
