1) The aged and brittle state of the reactors, especially reactor #2 which will be 80 years old at the end of the licensure extension and the significant number of Red findings.
2) Waste storage plans into perpetuity and plans for transport of spent fuel.
3) Exploration of alternative clean energy to replace the Point Beach Nuclear Plant
4) In the event of an accident, who will be responsible for paying for and monitoring healthcare of affected individuals over the long-term?
5) The potential for accidents: The potential of accidents resulting from all factors including human error, mechanical failure, climate change, and security breaches that could have devastating effects on the environment, our drinking water, human health, and the flora and fauna of the Point Beach area and Lake Michigan need to be given serious consideration and outlined for the public.
