Muscoda, WI, 53573 Email: earthsayge@yahoo.com Phone: 608-604-3930 General Comment The generation of electrical energy by the Point Beach Nuclear Plant is more hazardous than a coal fired plant. It's operation needs to dispose of depleted fuel rods in an environmentally safe manner, one that does not require perpetual bathing in cooling water that can leak into ground water and lakes. These rods need to be decontaminated and safely buried deep in the earth. Since there are no plans available for doing this, the operation of these reactors must be indefinately suspended or permanently terminated.
