Appleton, WI, 54911 Email: dschaber@athenet.net Phone: 920-739-6041 General Comment I oppose the requested 20 year extension of the Point Beach Nuclear Power Plant operating license for Units 1 and 2.

I have safety concerns about the cooling pipes underneath Units 1 and 2. I do not want any rusting, degrading and leaking of radioactive tritium. This radioactive tritium would leak into nearby groundwater which current wells now pump into homes for drinking water.

The operators of Point Beach Nuclear Plant need to be held liable for any and all property damages. Do not allow another 20 year extension.

Safety for Wisconsin citizens is absolutely needed. The unacceptable lack of accountability of owners combined with liability waivers in all damages if catastrophic accidents happen is unacceptable.

I hiked the Ice Age Trail near the Point Beach Nuclear Power Plant. I enjoyed going to the Two Creeks Buried Forest. If there is a catastrophic accident this forest would be so contaminated no one would be able to view the forest along Lake Michigan for hundreds or thousands of SUNI Review Complete Template=ADM-013 E-RIDS=ADM-03 ADD: Phyllis Clark, Bill Rogers, Mary Neely Comment (116)
