Chicago, IL, General Comment Due to the challenges of internet access in rural areas as well as COVID-19 related precautions, comment cards for the draft EIS should be mailed to every resident and business within 30 miles of the reactors.

What are the plans for distribution?

I am concerned that postal mail delays in this country, will prevent comments not delivered by March 3, 2021 to be counted. Will the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission accept comments if the materials are postmarked on March 3rd?

I am concerned that information about radiation releases by Point Beach Nuclear Power Plant into soil, water and air by Wisconsin Department of Health Services (WDHS) has not been made available on their website after 2017. Will the draft EIS specify that all radiation release monitoring data will be posted annually to the WDHS website?

Have families and workers who could be exposed during an accident been given information about safe use of Potassium Iodide. Will this information be provided?

Is there a plan for evacuation of specific events in the 50 mile radius around the Point Beach Nuclear Power Plant?

The EIS needs to explain how nuclear fuel is used during the fuel cycle and NextEras process for removing spent fuel and storing this waste material on site. What are the plans to address?

The EIS needs to address the short and long term impacts from storage of nuclear waste materials SUNI Review Complete Template=ADM-013 E-RIDS=ADM-03 ADD: Phyllis Clark, Bill Rogers, Mary Neely Comment (109)
