Madison, WI, 53704 Email: duckling@uwalumni.com General Comment Please consider that we don't know where to put the radioactive waste from nuclear plants. How long does it last? How will it be managed over the coming millennia? What legacy of radioactive waste will we leave future generations so that we can waste energy today instead of focusing on conservation methods and wise use?

Also, does the temperature increase from the plant cause any impacts on native aquatic species? Or any endangered species?

What environmental and societal risks are there to transporting the radioactive waste from the plant to the dump site? What happens if there is anaccident along the way?

What impacts could occur if there was a meltdown?

Maybe we could focus on conservation of existing resources that are safer in the long-term, rather than energy with such huge long-term risks.

Thank you for considering my thoughts.
