Manitowoc, WI, 54220 Phone: 9206839333 General Comment Point Beach Power Plant is a professionally operated electrical generating plant. The daily goal to produce power for the electrical grid safely encompasses safety of the employees, safety of fissile material, and safety of plant neighborhood & their environment. NextEra Energy promotes personal involvement in this safety environment and the employees are actively engaged to encourage one another to a high standard. Point Beach's handling of operating reactors & spent fuel is second to none. My interaction with the community folks regard the power plant as an extraordinarily safe location to work.

No matter what source is used to produce electricity there is a byproduct. Responsibly handling that byproduct in accordance with regulations (state & federal) is a constant priority at Point Beach.

Historically employees have always taken great pride to operate & maintain equipment to provide maximum efficiency and reliability. If the past is any clue to the future, the owners, the management, &

the employees working together will continue functioning as a safe reliable team.
