These units have provided safe, reliable and clean energy to Wisconsin and Michigan for 52 years. Plant owners and personnel have been the stewards for the property and surrounding environment such that it is home to numerous species of birds, mammals and fish. In this age of green energy, the plants have provided safe and reliable energy in all weather and storms common to Northeast Wisconsin. Removal of this baseload reliable power will result in inability to support the power demand. Situations similar to those experienced during the recent cold weather in Texas.
