REVIEW 0F PROPOSED TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR DIABLO CAN(ON UNIT 2 1

We have reviewed the Diablo Canyon Unit 2 Technical Specification and detennined that Technical Specifications 3/4.7.12 " Ultimate Heat Sink" and 3/4.7.13 " Flood Protection" are the only specifications under the purview of the Hydrologic Engineering Section. We have found that the limiting conditions for operation, surveillance requirements and bases discussed in both of the specifications are acceptable.
