1.0 INTRODUCTION

The purpose of this Appendix is to describe the requirements for preparation, distribution, and maintenance of documentation packages (Hanger Packages) for Piping Supports (HP 's) . This Appendix shall be used in conjunction with CP-CPM 7.1A for the preparation of HP 's.

3.2 ASME Piping HP's shall be prepared by the PFG in accordance with CP-CPM 9.10 (Hanger Packages) .

3.3 BOP large bore (2h" g and larger piping) piping HP's shall be prepared by the PFG. The HP shall consist of the following:

a. Drawing and design changes
b. Weld Filler Material Ing
c. Pipe Hanger Installation Report Non-Q (Attachment 1) 3.4 BCP small bore (2" 9 and smaller piping) piping supports shall be documented in accordance with established site instructions.

HP 's shall be prepared by the craft upon work completion and transmitted to the PEG. .

3.5 Inspection reports as well is other docu=ents identified in l CP-CPM 7.1A shall be inserted into the HP as applicable. The Package Inventory Card is not required in HP 's. CiC's shall be inserted and referenced in the HP in accordance with DEI-9.

4.0 PIPING SUPPORT HP MAINTENANCE 4.1 The PFG Coordinator is responsible for the storage and maintenance o f HP 's .

4.2 The PFG shall review the HP contents to assure that the HP is complete and all documents are to the current revision prior to initial issuance. Sub sequent review prior to reissuance is not required.

4.3 Upon completion of the piping support and return of the HP to the PFG, the PFG shall review the HP in order to assure that the required documentation is properly ' completed, accounted for, and to the current r evisio n. NNS-Seismic Ca tegory II HP 's shall be reviewed in accordance with CP-CPM 7.II.

4.4 Upon receipt of an asbuilt or vendor certified drawing, the PFG 4 shall obtain any other HP reviews needed to verify completion of the Pipe Support and HP.

4.4.1 EP 's which are complete pending final review, requiring additional asbuilt or vendor certified drawings, shall be maintained by the PFG in fire resistant cabinets with a one hour underwriter's 7

rating or in the IRV.

1 i 4.5 Reviewed HP 's shall be transmitted to the IRV utilizing Attachment 3 to CP-CPM 7.1.

5.0 PIPING SUPPORT RP DISTRIBUTION 5.1 EP's shall be issued to the craft or other groups upon request.

i 5.2 At the end of each shift, the cra ft Foreman shall return the HP 's j to the PFG. A Responsibility Trans fer Sheet ( Attachment 2) shall be filled out and returned for HP's which have been transferred to the other groups during the shift. A copy of the Request Hanger or Parts Form (Attachment 4) shall be returned from the cra ft for EP's which have been trans ferred to the fab shop

during the shift.

5.3 The PFG shall check the HP 's, the Responsibility Transfer - -

Sheets and the Request Hangers or Parts Forms returned from 4 t he cra f t to assure that all HP's have been returned or accounted for by Responsibility Transfer Sheets or the Request Ranger or Pa r t s Fo rms, i

l' 5.4 HP 's which are not accounted for per Para. 5.3 shall be identified to the PFG Coordinator for further action.

, 5.5 The craft Foreman shall complete and return an Inspection Report Status Shee t (Attachment 3) at the end of each shift. The Inspection Report Status Sheet shall indicate which inspection reports received status changes during the shift. Any inspection reports which changed status prior to a responsibility transfer i shall also be indicated on the IR Status Sheet.

j 5.6 The PFG shall utilize the IR Status Sheet to maintain current inspection report sta tus .
